About The Artist
Born in Kalamazoo, MI, in 1972, Amy Hutcheson has established herself prominently in the art community. Her work has been showcased across the US in esteemed venues such as LRoss Gallery; Globe Fine Art in Santa Fe, NM; Mongerson Gallery in Chicago, IL; The Ground Floor Gallery in Nashville, TN; and Jack Robinson Gallery in Memphis, TN. Numerous private and corporate collections feature her creations, including Sedgwick and Horne, LLC in Memphis, TN; Credit One Building in Chicago, IL; Askew, Nixon, and Ferguson Architect Firm in Memphis, and Theo’s Bistro in Memphis, TN. Amy has been recognized for her remarkable talent, receiving the People’s Choice award at The Brush Off international juried show in 2020. In 2012, she was honored with the Best in Show title at the From The Ground Up exhibit in Nashville and was a nominee for the Emmett O'Ryan Award for Artistic Inspiration, presented by The Brooks Museum in Memphis. Her work has graced numerous juried exhibitions throughout the nation. A graduate of Memphis College of Art with a BFA, Amy continues to live and work in Memphis.
