Letty Oratowski

I have a BA degree in Art Education from Kean U. in Union, NJ, followed by a Master's Art degree from the U of Iowa. At that time I devoted my time to clay work and built my own kiln outside of my studio. A number of years later I turned to realism in painting using watercolor, which expanded to oil painting on canvas. At the same time I have been creating figurative sculpture in stoneware, often combining my painting and sculpting skills on the same piece. I have exhibited widely in jury shows in NJ and Alabama and have wo multiple awards. In the Spring of 2024 I won first place at the Eastern Shore Art Center in Fairhope, AL. and a few years back, awarded a one-person show at the site above.
