Keith Prue

Keith Prue’s photographs contain wit and irony and his British sense of humor—challenging us to look at fleeting moments of wonder through the simple pleasure of seeing. His subjects are predominantly people or the natural world, although he is also fascinated with urban infrastructure. He travels extensively and through this explores and contrasts cultural nuances, as well as considering Rhode Island and its environs where he resides. Prue is primarily self-taught and works in a digital medium, often presenting multiple adjacent images in a frame, for visual impact or to draw contextual comparison. He is an Elected Artist Member of Art League RI, and an Exhibiting Member of the RI Center for Photographic Arts.
