Judith Peck, an allegorical figurative artist from the Washington, DC area, has dedicated her career to creating paintings that explore themes of history and healing. Her work, known for its diverse visual and tactile qualities, supports strong narratives through various methods and experimental techniques. Peck has received accolades from notable institutions including the Masur Museum of Art, the Alexandria Museum of Art, The Washington County Museum of Fine Art, and more. Her art has been exhibited at prestigious venues such as the Phillips Collection in Washington, DC, Context Art Basel in Miami, and The Art of Paper show in New York, among others. She has held numerous solo shows and featured in major galleries. Awarded the Strauss Fellowship Grant from Fairfax County, Virginia, and an International Artist-in-Residence in Salzburg, Austria, Peck's work has been highlighted in American Art Collector Magazine, Poets/Artists, The Artist’s Magazine, and various books. Her paintings are collected globally and included in numerous private and public collections, such as the Museo Arte Contemporanea, Sicilia, the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art in Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia’s Commission on the Arts and Humanities Art Bank, among others.
