Carol Christ

Carol Christ graduated from the Peck School of the Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she studied oil painting under Tom Uttech, fibers under Ruth Kao, ceramics under Ann Kingsbury, and artist's books under Max Yela. She has a preference for watercolors, although she often returns to oils as well as acrylics, casein, and the occasional artist's book. She likes to paint whatever catches her interest at the moment and then chooses the medium that seems the most fitting. She loves detail: "if it's worth doing it's worth over-doing!"
