About The Artist
Yaacov Agam, born in 1928, is an Israeli sculptor with an expertise for optical and kinetic art*. An alumnus of the Belzalel Academy and LÕAtelier d'art abstrait as well as lÕAcadŽmie de la grande chaumire, Agam was greatly inspired by the his Western European tutors whose works at the time were heavily influenced by the Bauhaus and modern art movement, otherwise known as Òconstruction houseÓ art.
