About the Item: These collages are made parallel to his painting practice. He has a collection of source materials around his studio. The pieces start in his sketchbook, and he uses pages from vintage magazines and newspapers, typically from the 1950s, 19960s, 1970s, and 1980s. He adds or tears to reveal drawings underneath, not unlike public torn-down posters.
