About the Item: A complex and stunning mixed-media work by notable Illinois artist Christine Ilewski-Huelsmann, not only a fixture in the arts establishment widely represented in galleries and museums but also founder of Faces Not Forgotten. There's a story going on here that we make up for ourselves; the title "Shhhhh!" tells us that we are not to share it, whatever it is! Incorporates actual fabric which helps it engage actively with the viewer in three-dimensional space. Very flowery, very feminine, very mysterious (as women are, at least to me!).
