About The Artist
Tammy, born in 1975 in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York, spent much of her childhood immersed in the natural world, observing the animals and landscapes around her. Her lifelong passion for animals is evident in her artwork, where they often take center stage. A self-taught artist, Tammy returned to the art world in 2012 after a 15-year hiatus. Specializing in charcoal and graphite, she creates highly detailed renderings of her subjects with the intention of drawing viewers closer, inviting them to appreciate the beauty she sees in the animals she depicts.
