About the Item: The first serious painting I bought as a collector, when I was around 30, was by William Anzalone of Texas. I saw it at the venerable Meredith Long Gallery in Houston, which represented him. When I this painting come up in an auction I knew immediately who had painted it, as these pinkish orange tones, long shadows and soft, moody atmosphere are so characteristic of his work. Just lovely. Comes in a gold frame, 29" x 35" with frame. 24" x 30" unframed.
