About the Item: A gentle, quiet, lovely portrait of motherhood painted by British artist Arthur Bradbury in 1927, a distinguished painter who over the years exhibited 14 works at the Royal Academy. It has that casual serenity of a Mary Cassatt scene. Note the mother's very 1920's attire! Signed and dated lower left. Painting is on a nice tight canvas in great condition for being almost a century old! 20" x 16.5" in fine carved wooden frame; 15" x 11.75" canvas only.
