About the Item: This folklore-inspired painting features horned human-animal hybrid holding and seemingly mourning another fantastical creature that has been injured. Rozich confronts human themes such as loss, responsibility, and mortality throughout this vibrant, dream-like composition. This work was made for "Distant Figures", a group show at LaiSun Keane (November 1 - December 22, 2024).
