About the Item: Using old hurricane shutters, used to protect windows when bolted over windows during a hurricane, I created a fluid replica of the linear and material essence of the original strucuture. Using latex resin, I layered about 27 layers, ne a day for a month, to create this extraordinary wall piece. The artwork evokes, partition, skin, opaqueness.
