About The Artist
Jessie Spiess, a graduate of the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, lives and works in Milwaukee. During her time at MIAD, she also spent a semester studying at the Bauhaus Universität in Weimar, Germany, as part of an exchange program. While Jessie primarily works in the photographic medium, she continually challenges the boundaries of what defines a "photograph." She also enjoys drawing and frequently experiments with blending the two art forms.
